Asbestos Awareness Training - 20th February 2008
The control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 came into force on 13th November 2006. The regulations require mandatory training for anyone who may be exposed to Asbestos fibres at work. Effectively, this means all building maintenance workers will require some form of Asbestos Awareness training.

All workers will require basic Asbestos Awareness training, ensuring they know the dangers posed by Asbestos Containing Materials (A.C.Ms) For those maintenance workers who wish to carry out simple Non licensed Asbestos tasks additional and more in depth practical training will be required. NATAS offer specific awareness training courses, designed to meet the requirements of the legislation.
